Where are we?
For the Indiana GPS Project, East Central Indiana is an 11-county region built around the cities of Kokomo, Muncie, and Anderson. This trio of proximate and similarly sized cities has traditionally not seen itself as a cohesive region, yet each have similar manufacturing-rich histories.

Where are we going?
Like other parts of the state, portions of East Central Indiana are among of the nation’s regions most exposed to the effects of automation. However, with a variety of assets ranging from Ball State University to the Grissom Air Reserve Base, East Central Indiana is capable of charting a new course for itself.
