It is designed to focus business priorities and spur intentional growth across the entire state of Indiana and to increase the number of good jobs in all types of industries to help provide better opportunities for every Hoosier.
Scholars from Brookings Institution’s Metropolitan Policy Program and the American Enterprise Institute, a collaborative team of undisputed national experts, have carried out some unprecedented research and analysis about Indiana’s economy, regions, population and workforce.

The Indiana GPS Project DESTINATIONS Video Series is a journey towards Indiana’s best future, traveling to different regions across the state to spotlight economic challenges and opportunities. The series provides unique insights into existing programs that address the three recommendations from the report, State of renewal: Charting a new course for Indiana’s economy and inclusion:
- drive digital adoption;
- do more to support workers who aren’t in good jobs and;
- promote favorable job-creation and work transitions.
All of which can help strengthen our economy, spur regional growth and create better job opportunities for all Hoosiers.
